Hiking Picacho Peak

There's a pretty big peak between Tucson and Phoenix. So on our way home from the temple, we stopped by. We changed into our athletic gear because we wanted to run up it and get a great workout.

I think I lasted about 45 seconds and had to start walking it was so steep! Scott made it a few seconds further, but we were way out of our league! I guess we just thought we were lots tougher than what we actually are:) Yay for high self-esteem?

We got this pic on our way home...we want to start a scrap-book of these amazing trucks! This isn't the tallest one we've seen, but it was pretty good. On its way to Mexico with many yard sale goods...

After the hike, we went to one of our favorite restaurants: Texas Roadhouse. I love their rolls and honey butter!!!

Our key wasn't letting us into our car...and then we realized we had gotten our car mixed up with the one right next to us! You really can't blame us though - look how alike they look!

7.4 Miles in 61 Minutes

This race actually took place where we went hiking with my family when they visited. It was a little chilly, but nice weather for a run.

The Clarks Come To Tucson (in April...)

So I'm a little behind with my posting, but here's my attempt at getting caught up...for the time being anyway.

We had a LOT of fun and somehow fit a LOT of things in too!
Hiking in the Heat

There actually was a nice waterfall close by.

Checking out the mission that's close to our home.

Checking out the AZ history museum.

We also went to the Air & Space Museum, but I haven't downloaded those pics yet...

And the fam even helped us tile our kitchen and entry!
